System time synchronization

If you want to succeed on eBay, it is really important to synchronize your PC clock with the eBay auction. AuctionNavigator does not require synchronization to be very accurate because the "auction guard" feature makes it possible to bid even with small time offsets, but in that case you should take it into account and set "Time before end" a bit longer.

You can specify the synchronization settings here. The practice of bidding allows us to conclude that the normal offset can be not more than 5 seconds and it is advisable to avoid greater offset.
To manually synchronize the clock, you can press the corresponding button on the main toolbar.
Some Windows versions, XP for example and probably higher, have internal time synchronization via the Internet. You can use that synchronization because it works according to the same principles that the synchronization in AuctionNavigator.

If you computer is on a network having a domain controller, you should remember that the Windows system can synchronize your PC clock automatically. At the same time the time on the domain controller can be set incorrectly. To avoid it, you can turn off the time service on your computer, but in that case you had better consult your system administrator.
